Forecasters predict that this summer of 2008 will be hot and dry on the Canadian Prairies and the USA northern States.
This means that the Jet stream is moving further north and Tornado Alley will also move northward from its normal Mid-western position. Tornadoes have already touched down in southern Manitoba.
